Backstory
The significance of focusing on national values as a top-priority task became an imperative among a group of like-minded people both in Armenia and beyond it in 2020 during the Artsakh war.
Together with extending a helping hand, continuous discussions engendered an idea that the all-important task for the living generation is retaining the nationhood. Only on the basis of solid national self-consciousness, a state may acquire the durability and strength which will help it to become long-lasting and viable. This is the necessary condition for the free creation of peoples.
”The Amrots” fund unites people whose final aim is to contribute to modernization of national self-consciousness and ultimately to Armenian nationhood and national viability.
The aims
- studying, retaining, developing and spreading the components of national identity.
- creating and advancing the ideas aimed at developing a viable national state.
- advancing harmonious public relations based on Christian virtues and national values.
- giving a new/ impetus to the institution of a family as a primary unit of self- organization of a society
- elaborating and realizing gainful educational programmes combining national educational traditions with the best international practices
- developing self-organisation of regional communities
- exploring the components of security and assisting in the upgrade of its general level.
