Priest Mesrop Aramyan

Clergyman, theologian, author of spiritual and cultural initiatives

I was born in Yerevan in 1966. I am a graduate of the Yerevan Physics and Mathematics School and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (“Phystech”).

In 1991, I was ordained a priest of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

In 1991, I founded the “Gandzasar” Theological Center.

In 2002, I founded the “Vem” spiritual-cultural radio station.

In 2006, together with a group of friends, we created the Ayb Educational Foundation.

I am the screenwriter and producer of the film “From Ararat to Zion”, released in 2010.

I am the author of the educational program (Ararat Baccalaureate) of the Ayb School, founded in 2011, and the founding chairman of the Board of Trustees.

In 2019, I am the author of the Armenian translation of the work “The Book of Tragedies” by Saint Gregory of Narek, published by the “Vem” Educational and Cultural Foundation.

The ideology and activities of “Amrots” are dedicated to the reinterpretation and preservation of Armenian identity. I am glad to have the opportunity to join and contribute to this important mission.

I was born in 1970 in the city of Kapan, Republic of Armenia.

I graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute, Faculty of Cosmonautics and Automatic Flying Devices, and in 1993 I entered the postgraduate program at the same faculty.

In 2000, together with like-minded people, we founded the Coffee Cantata company, which, as a chain of specialized stores selling tea, coffee, and sweets, is the leader in the industry in the Russian Federation.

Living far from their historical homeland, they feel a deeper sense of responsibility towards it. I am convinced that the foundation will be able to contribute to strengthening the foundations of statehood.

Arthur Zurabyan

I was born in 1985 in the village of Berdavan, Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia.

In 2010, I graduated from N.E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University with a degree in “Gas Turbine Engines and Combined Units”.

In 2012, I received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Higher School of International Business of the Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration of the Russian Federation.

I have 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship. During this time, I have founded a number of companies in various sectors of Russian business, but the main successes have been recorded in the field of transport logistics.

After the Artsakh war in 2020, the Amrots Foundation provided me with the opportunity to join a team of highly professional individuals working to strengthen national and Christian values. For me, it is a great honor and a good opportunity to make my modest contribution to such a great and responsible cause.

I was born in 1975. I studied Yerevan State University , Lomonosov Moscow State University (PhD in Economics), and Oxford University (Executive MBA).

I am the founding director of “EV Consulting” business consulting company, which merged with Civita International Consulting Company. The first venture capital firm in Armenia I am the director and co-founder of Granatus Ventures .

Nune Magoyan

Social scientist

I was born in Yerevan in 1967. I studied at Yerevan State University (Philosophy and Sociology), the University of Manchester School of Social and Economic Sciences (MSA) in Moscow, Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and the University of Turin in Italy (MMD).

I have led teams in private, public, and international organizations, and taught in secondary vocational and higher education institutions.

I founded an interdisciplinary research and consulting company in Armenia (1994), and in the Swiss Confederation, MAGOYAN CoNexus, a company for the design and management of leadership development, professional coaching, consulting, mediation, and research (2016).

With like-minded people and friends, I participated in the establishment of a number of public and professional organizations, including the International Union of Armenian Jewelers (1997), the Switzerland-Armenia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2012), and I have worked towards the introduction of international professional coaching in Armenia (since 2014).

“Amrots” inspired me to take individual and group responsibility, to conceive long-term national development projects and implement them with honor, to apply my experience and knowledge in the process and to achieve lasting results.

Karen Simonyan

I was born in Yerevan in 1980. I graduated from Moscow State University of International Relations.

From 2004 to 2019, I held management positions in a number of Russian mining and metallurgical companies.

The value of personal achievements fades when a true, deep understanding of duty to ancestors and the Homeland, and responsibility to future generations, awakens.

Participating in this project is a great honor and a unique opportunity to make a modest contribution to creating new meanings and aspirations for our nation.

Aram Pakhchanyan

Businessman, education specialist

I was born in Yerevan in 1968. I graduated from the Yerevan Physics and Mathematics School, then the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

I have been working at ABBYY since 1993. I have actively participated in the company’s creation, development, and entry into international markets.

In 2006, together with a number of friends, we founded the “Ayb” Club and the “Ayb” Educational Foundation.

In 2014, I moved to Armenia to take over the leadership of Ayb School, while simultaneously remaining in the position of Vice President of ABBYY.

From 2014 to 2020, I was the Executive Director of Ayb School.

I am the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ayb Educational Foundation, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Dilijan Central School Educational Foundation, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Monte Melkonian Military and Sports Academy Foundation, Chairman of the Board of the One Voice Armenian Association of Independent Schools, and a member of the Advisory Board of Granatus Ventures.

David Pakhchanyan

I was born in 1970. I graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and the Higher School of Economics.

I am the founder of a number of companies, and I managed the Aerosib company for many years.

In 2006, my friends and I founded the Ayb Educational Foundation. At various times, I headed the Board of Trustees, and was a trustee of the Ayb Educational Foundation and the Ayb School.

In 2014, my friends and I founded the “Arar” Foundation, and I am currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the “Arar” Foundation.

From June 2016 to June 2018, I was the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia – Chairman of the Military-Industrial Committee of the Republic of Armenia, and then, until March 2019, the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

I believe that the challenges facing Armenia require efforts from caring citizens, primarily in three areas: security, education, and strengthening the values ​​on which our dream country should be anchored.

Eduard Atanesyan

FORMER DIRECTOR

I was born in 1974. I graduated from the Department of International Relations of Yerevan State University and completed postgraduate studies at the RA Ministry of Defense’s Institute of International Relations.

I have 25 years of experience working in state structures, scientific and analytical, and private sectors in Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia.

We must strive for the foundation to make a significant contribution to the development of national values ​​and become an example for other similar initiatives, uniting like-minded people in the Republic of Armenia, Artsakh, and around the world around the overarching goals of the nation’s survival and creation.

Aram Safaryan

Dzernerets, PhD.

ADVISOR , FORMER DIRECTOR OF THE FOUNDATION

I was born in Yerevan in 1977. I graduated from Yerevan State University and continued my education in the Russian Federation, at Moscow State University.

For the past 16 years, I have worked in the Moscow office of the Chinese company HUAWEI.

I have decided to return to my homeland and join the foundation’s team, because I see the survival of the country and nation only through the development of true national values. I am confident that only with the participation of each of us can we contribute to the restoration, strengthening, and prosperity of our country.
