Sona Zakharyan Memorial Scholarship: 2023

Since 2023 the Found managed initiative has got another beneficiar: Milena Yeghoyan was joined by Nune Mosikyan, who is currently studying at the Department of International Relations of the AUA.

The Scholarship was established by Manuk and Stepan Hergnyans in memory of the honored teacher Sona Zakharyan, who taught Armenian language and literature in the schools of the town of Gavar for more than 30 years. At the moment, it is provided only to the graduates of the school N3 of Gavar, while the selection is made by the school’s Pedagogical Council.

The scholarship was established by Manuk and Stepan Hergnyan in memory of multi-earning educator Sona Zakharyan, who taught Armenian language and Armenian literature in the schools of Gavar city for more than 30 years. For now, it is provided only to graduates of Gavar N3 school, the selection is made by the school’s pedagogical council.
