Sprout in Armenian’ 2026

‘Sprout in Armenian’ 2026

Creative Competition

The Amrots Foundation has officially launched applications for the 2026 edition of the “Sprout in Armenian” annual creative competition, held under this year’s theme: “Thinking in Armenian, Speaking to the World.”
Applications must be submitted by October 10, 2026.

This is an invitation for teenagers to share their world in Armenian—to express what they feel, capture what they see, and create in a way that is uniquely their own.

In the frames of the competition, participants may create works based on the suggested thematic areas and titles or submit works under their own titles, provided that they remain within the conceptual scope of the selected theme.

This year’s theme is a call to

listen to one’s inner voice,

reflect on memories, values, faith, homeland, and language,

and transform Armenian from a mere means of communication into a personal creative expression to the world.

The competition is open to Armenian teenagers aged 14–17 from Armenia and the Diaspora.
