"Tsil" competition 2024

In 2024, the "Tsil" competition took on a new substantive direction in response to the tragic events surrounding Artsakh. This year was defined as a documentary phase, where creative expression served as a vital tool for preserving memory and shaping public discourse. The competition was held under the theme "Through the Eyes of a Witness," featuring categories in both literature and photography. The standout photographs were printed as large-scale posters and showcased during the project's concluding event.

Participants and Results

In 2024, the competition engaged 36 young creators. Following a professional evaluation, 14 award winners and one special prize recipient were recognized for their exceptional work.

Culmination and Presentation

The 2024 competition reached its finale at the Yeghishe Charents House-Museum, providing a symbolic and inspiring setting for the closing ceremony. In a significant display of creative growth, members of the "Tsil" community also showcased books of their own authorship. Winners were presented with their monetary awards in accordance with the established competition guidelines.

Partnerships and Development

In 2024, the “Tsil” program significantly expanded its collaborative network, launching strategic partnerships with the Writers’ Union of Armenia, the Avetik Isahakyan Central Library, and the periodicals “Geghard” and “Ardzagang” (Geneva). These collaborations ensured creative continuity for the program’s participants, allowing them to maintain active professional ties with these prestigious platforms.
