“Tsil” 2023

"Tsil" competition 2023

Creative Competition

In 2023, the "Tsil" competition entered its second phase of development, shifting its focus from mere competitive outcomes to the active formation of a permanent community and the long-term engagement of its participants. The competition ran from April 1 to July 8, 2023, following a rigorous, multi-stage process: application submission, content review, shortlisting, personal interviews, and the final culmination. Both the interview phase and the awards ceremony were hosted at the prestigious Yeghishe Charents House-Museum.

Participants and Scope

The 2023 competition drew 62 young creators from various regions of Armenia and Yerevan. Submissions were accepted in three categories:
Prose
Poetry
Socio-Cultural Creative Work
From the initial pool, 29 participants advanced to the second stage. This progression highlighted both the growing public interest in the initiative and a deliberate move toward more stringent qualitative selection standards.

Jury and Operational Team

The entries were evaluated by an expert jury panel:
A key innovation this year was the active involvement of youth leaders from the “Tsil” community in organizing the competition. This served as a vital step in peer-to-peer mentorship and professional experience sharing within the foundation.
